Access for everyone
NIT aims to make its digital library usable across devices, input methods, and assistive technologies.
Core functions are designed for keyboard use, visible focus, meaningful headings, and descriptive controls.
Layouts support zoom and reflow, with clear type, strong contrast, and responsive behavior from phones to desktops.
If a resource or process is inaccessible, the library will work with you toward a practical alternative.
We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a design and testing target. Because VuFind, catalog records, linked databases, and third-party media change over time, this is an ongoing commitment rather than a claim that every item is free of barriers.
Email library@nit.edu.pk or call +92 42 111 001 648. Include the page address, what you were trying to do, your device and browser, and any assistive technology used.
For questions about accessible study spaces, routes, seating, or assistance at the Library Resource Center, contact the library before your visit so arrangements can be confirmed.
